Back To School

It’s boiling outside and that can mean only one thing, back to school. Whether you are going back to high school for that last year or starting all over again by becoming a college freshman the anticipation is overwhelming as you take the next step in becoming independent.
If you happen to be leaving home to attend college, good for you! That is one of the hardest things for people to do and the further you go away the better. It’s much easier to find yourself and understand who you are by leaving what you once were. Making new friends, enjoying new experiences, and becoming aware of cultures you might not have been subjected to can be great new experiences.
You have already picked a college and now it is time to see if you hit the jackpot or if you purchased a lemon. Don’t judge your decision by the first week of being there but give it time. I know Mitch didn’t like his first few days of class but you know having Chris Knight as a roommate might drive anyone crazy. And what was up with Lazlo?
You will learn the greatest credit line ever, Student Charge. This is the parents worst nightmare as you can charge items such as school supplies to DVDs to even rounds of golf. Oh, and depending on the institution you are going to it only shows up as a Bookstore purchase on your statement.
I wish you the best of luck with your first year and if you have an 8 o’clock, DROP IT NOW!
