From a Modest Beginning Emerged the East Carolina University

From its modest beginning has emerged a commonwealthal research university where 23.000 students are enrolled.

Today the East Carolina offers 106 bachelors order programs, 71 masters degree programs and four specialist degree programs.

East Carolina’s visual and performing arts programs are among the largest and most prestigious on the East Coast. The College of Fine Arts and Communication hosts hundreds of public performances and gatherings every year through its professional concert series and the School of Theatre and Dance offers multiple productions of plays, musical theatre, and dance concerts throughout the year in McGinnis Theatre.
